her story
Alala has a unique skill set rooted in creativity and production. She moved to Boulder Colorado in the fall of 1996 to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder and immediately fell in love with the high altitude and open minded communities. She studied Film production with Stan Brakhage & Phil Solomon and graduated with her Film Studies BFA in 2002. Upon graduating she joined other film school alumni working for a large media company adding commercial production to her avant garde film making knowledge.
Over the course of a ten year tenure she rose up the ranks from Editor, to Producer, to Senior Producer and then to Executive Producer. When the company was bought out, her team was dismantled and she found herself looking for a new challenge. This quest took her through a ten day Vipassana and then to Hawaii where she connected with the roots of her name. Upon her return she began a new career path working in the residential construction field learning sales, products, installation methods and all the operations of the industry.
Working for others, over a six year period, she began to notice all the pain points for those selling renovation services and for their customers. She began to see what was universal and what needed to change. As a seasoned yogi with business acumen she had a vision that integrated her passion for design and architecture. This led her to start her own company. Her mission is to evolve residential exterior remodeling through a deep focus on the needs of the client.
